My 5 yr old daughter is having dry cough for over a week.She coughs very little during the day but very bad cough at night which settles by morning.We are in congo central africa , where medical facilities are less.Please adivise me what to do for this, some home remedies and also what can be this? an allergy or some bronchial problem?

I am 28 weeks pregnant and have terrible dry cough (after having sore throat for 2 days). I tried honey with ginger but it doesn’t seem to be helping. It’s been like this for 4 days. Your answer will be appreciated. Thanks!
